Transcript of the Story

One day, Jesus and his disciples got into a boat and went to the other side of the lake. While they were going across, Jesus went to the back of the boat and fell asleep. Not long after that, a huge storm came up. There was a lot of wind and waves, and the waves started to come over the side of the boat, almost sinking the boat. His disciples went back to where he was sleeping and said, “Master, wake up. Don’t you care that we’re about to drown.” Well, Jesus stood up and he spoke to the wind and the waves. He said, “Be quiet,” and immediately everything became calm. Then Jesus looked at his disciples and said, “Why were you afraid? Don’t you have even a little faith?” And His disciples looked at each other and they said, “Who is this that even the wind and the waves obey him.”
