Transcript of the Story

Many generations after Noah, there was a man named Abraham. He and his wife didn’t have any children. One day when Abraham was about 75 years old, God spoke to him and said, “Leave this land and go to the land that I will show you. I will give you many descendants and make you into a great nation. I’ll make your name famous. I’ll bless you and I’ll also bless everyone who blesses you. And I’ll curse anyone who curses you. Through you, all nations will be blessed. ”

So Abraham did what God told him to do and took his wife, Sarah, and his nephew, Lot. And when they arrived in the land of Canaan, God spoke to Abraham and told him, “I’m going to give this land to you and your descendants.” Abraham knew that God would keep his promise so he built an altar there and he worshiped God.
